An elegant antique oval centerpiece platter in silver-plated metal, featuring ornate openwork handles, shell-shaped applied decoration, a beaded border and four decorative feet. Its balanced neoclassical revival form gives it a refined architectural presence, making it well suited as a table centerpiece or decorative serving piece.

The platter bears an unidentified manufacturer or retailer’s punch together with the number “25.” The maker remains unknown. Based on its construction, decorative vocabulary and neoclassical revival styling, it is believed to date from the early 20th century, approximately circa 1900–1930.

Condition
In good vintage condition, with visible signs of age and previous use. The silvered surface shows natural tarnishing, patina, oxidation and spotting, particularly inside the bowl, together with fine surface scratches and light wear. Darker areas around the handles, feet and decorative details are consistent with age and oxidation. No major dents, cracks or structural damage were observed.
