Decorative round terracotta mirror composed of individual ceramic tiles impressed with dried botanical plant motifs, made in France and dating from the mid-20th century. The design, material, and natural plant imprints are strongly evocative of Vallauris ceramic production and are characteristic of works produced in the style of Roger Capron.
The mirror features a warm, earthy terracotta surface with natural textural variations and organic irregularities inherent to handcrafted ceramic work. The reverse is fitted with a wooden backing and hanging string, allowing for secure wall display.
Condition Very good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Some traces of transparent adhesive visible between a few tiles. No cracks to the terracotta or mirror glass. Irregularities are consistent with the handmade nature of the piece.
