An elegant pair of French Art Deco bookends featuring two spirited rearing horses, signed TEDD, circa 1930s.
The finely modeled horses feature contrasting golden and dark bronze-toned patinas, with flowing manes and stylized wave-like supports. Each figure rests on a polished cream marble base, creating a striking contrast between the sculptural metalwork and natural stone.
Compact yet full of character, these bookends make a refined addition to a library, desk, or curated shelf, particularly in Art Deco, traditional, or equestrian-inspired interiors.
