A refined French guéridon dating from the early 20th century, circa 1900–1930. This elegant small side table appears to be crafted from a hardwood, most likely mahogany or a closely related tropical hardwood, based on the color, grain, and overall aging characteristics. It is finished in a warm mahogany-toned stain typical of French decorative furniture of the period.

The guéridon features an oval top supported by four slender, hand-carved legs adorned with stylized floral and foliate motifs. A lower oval shelf fitted with woven cane provides both visual lightness and practical support, reflecting the decorative and functional balance characteristic of early 20th-century French interiors.

The underside reveals traditional construction methods, including solid wood panels and slotted screws, along with a small workshop or assembly mark consistent with period production.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition overall, with light surface wear, scuffs, and scratches consistent with age and use. One leg shows a small age-related hairline crack (approx. 1.18-1.57 in / 3–4 cm) on the underside, stable and non-structural.

Approx. dimensions
Width: 17.32 in (44 cm); Depth: 14.57 in (37 cm); Height: 24.41 in (62 cm)
