A striking pair of French Art Deco bookends, circa 1930, featuring two graceful leaping antelopes sculpted above stylized foliage and mounted on contrasting black marble bases.

The elegant, elongated figures combine rich dark patination with warm gilt highlights, creating a beautiful interplay of texture, movement and light. The sculptural foliage adds depth and decorative character, while the geometric marble bases anchor the composition.

Signed TEDD on the metalwork, these distinctive bookends embody the elegance and dynamism of the Art Deco period. A refined decorative accent for a library, bookshelf or console.
